Lauren Schuster and Moshe Lehmann with Rabbi Uriel Lubetski, Yeshivat Rambam Middle and High School principal.

Moshe Lehmann has always had a love for Jewish communal life and a love of learning. While maintaining a high level of academic performance he has been involved in many extra–curricular activities. He joined Cub Scouts at an early age and became an Eagle Scout last week. He has been very active as a youth leader at Congregation Shomrei Emunah in arranging learning sessions, as a Torah reader, and as Gabbai for the Shabbat Mincha service. Moshe has been a volunteer at Levindale as a Torah reader, visiting residents, and assisting in programs and has regularly visited a young adult with special needs for the WAITT program. This past year Moshe was a very involved participant in Jewish Connection, a program at Yeshivat Rambam conducted in partnership with Jews for Judaism.

Lauren Schuster has attended Yeshivat Rambam since kindergarten and has always found volunteering and working with individuals with disabilities to be satisfying and rewarding. She has been an active participant in Chai Lifeline, WAITT, Gesher La'Torah, Hackerman Patz House, Police Athletics League, Bnai Akivah, Mitzvah Connection, Israel Action Committee, Drama, Yearbook, and was the chairperson of the Chinese Auction 11th grade Israel Trip fundraiser. This past year Lauren has participated in the Jewish Volunteer Connection/Commitment to Service Initiative of The Associated and has had the opportunity to do community service and gain valuable leadership skills with peers from many varied backgrounds in the Jewish community.

We wish a hearty Mazal Tov to our two outstanding young leaders from Yeshivat Rambam and to their parents, grandparents, and families. May you both continue to grow from strength to strength!
